"If Shadow's in, I'm in," Jacob agreed. "Jacob, I will not date you no matter what you do," Shadowsong growled, catching his wrist as he tried to slip his arm around her waist. "You're sure we can trust him?" Coltin asked quietly, careful not to let the winds grow around him. His fear had always made his gift turn to his voice for how bad the breeze could be. She nodded, looking to Kaden as he tried to guide Laney towards the railing to have her sit. He shook his head. "Kaden, they'll need you if they go, you're our only healer," Laney whispered, putting a hand on her boyfriend's shoulder. "What if you need me?" he questioned. Shadow smiled and snickered at the two. Adorable. It was obviously true love.
