A voice showed up in Shadowsong's head. Earin's. She blocked it as best as she could until she finally just couldn't stand being there. Shadow got up and started heading to Xavier's. New York had turned her into a wreak. "I can't go back there," she whispered to herself. When she got back, she ran straight to her room to pack. She remembered the place she used to call home of in Floresville. Jacob and Morgan would be there. Gretchen ran the place so of course she'd be there. Shadowsong had been told she'd always have a place there. She grabbed the few clothes she had and her keys before going out to her truck. She'd purposely left her phone to keep from being tracked and always had her computer files on an older laptop she kept hidden in her truck. Shadow set off for Texas, planning on getting there as soon as possible.
